Geeking out

Okay so last night my geek was sqeeling or whatever, WELL NOW IT"S FRIKKEN SCREAMING!

I submitted some stories to This is Reall Happening, a podcast on Crave online check it our it's awesome, anyways now Sax, 1/2 of the hosting dou Powers and Carr, is telling me through Skype I could be on the show and if I'm ever at a convention they could hook me up with press passes.

EPIC! Right now I'm trying to chat with him, eat pasta and post this. I think i'm ready for a publish post. I"ll BE BACK!

Okay fine it's really the geek in the pink but i don't wear pink so...there!

My inner geek is squealing with joy. In a steryotipical sense, geeks are into Syfy, Comics, computers, and gaming.

Yeah well I dabble...I hate that word...

Anyways I've turned into quite the Syfy geek. Lets see what are/were some of my favorite shows:

Veronica Mars
Being Human
WAREHOUSE 13!
Eureka
Buffy The Vampire Slayer
Middleman
Pushing Daises

So one of those isn't Syfy but whatever...
Computers? I'm getting there...

Comics? Hard to do as most first copys are rare and comics are pricey.

Sometimes I listen to Fandom Planet though now I'm hypnotized by Sax Carr's latest podcast this is really happening...

Hmmm...

I'm having conflicting feelings. I just saw a trailer for a new series or series re-make or whatever called Teen Wolf. It looked really amazing but the one thing that bothered me was that it was on MTV.

I love werewolves, but this is MTV here. It could be really bad.

I don't know if it's just the reluctant outsider in me, who doesn't think MTV is great at all or it's just that it looks to good to be true.

To forget about it or to remember, that is the question...

In other news I kidnapped my brother's smurf and am now holding him for ransom. I don't think he cares enough about the smurf though...so collecting could be hard...

Last night, me and a twitter friend had a really long talk on pirate puns. I started it, the convorsation went like this

Them-I would love to be a pirate. Well, more of a fictional pirate, since I'd probably be hung if I was an actual pirate.

Me- I went to go see a movie on Pirates but they wouldn't let me in because it was rated arrrrr

Them-It was rated arrr for too much booty.

Me-So much booty I could hardly 'parrot'

Them-I nearly couldn't 'parrot' either. No surprise, since the pirate movie was called Booty and the Beast.

Me-Well let's not 'peg' the terribleness on the writers. They tried their beast

Them-True. Not everyone can capture how pirates really arrrr.

Me-I think one of the writers used to be a banker, but they lost intrest in the subject

Them-At least they didn't 'rum' from the story. I mean, they finished it out before he 'd-aaayy-d.'

Me-I think the pirates would have been more effcient using weapons of mast destruction

Them-Ayy don't know, learning to use those might have required a teacher a little more 'scurvy' than that lady from 'doubloon'.

Me-Course they prefer one on one combat. I hear they have a pretty good right hook

Them-I don't know, I've heard that they accidentally cutlasses.

Me-That makes me want to shed a privite tear

Them-That might've been the best one yet! It made me want to land-blubber!

Me-Well I hear it takes pirates forever to learn tha alphabet, they spend years at sea

Them-I'm not sure they learn it at all- pirates really have ship for brains.

Me-You're right though, I don't think they cannon!

Them-It might be hard though, with most of them having one ayyy. I don't think they have a .bounty. of books, either.

Me-No I suppose you're right. One came to my birthday party, but I suspect he was just there for doubloons!

Them-I think I just snorted up the contents of my lungs. And I'm sorry, I think he was only there for your booty.

Me-Okay that's it. I'm walking the plank on pirate puns and getting some shut ayy, I mean eye

Them-Fare thee well, me hartey

Happy St. Pattrick's Day everyone! I spent my evening watching Destination Truth live on Syfy, whilst helping a friend with homework. I'm tired. I'm sleeping.
